90-min Group Trail Ride

Service Description

Group Rides are available to the public to book online. This ride will be about 90 minutes in the saddle and out on the trail. When you book online you will be required to pay a $10 deposit per rider and the balance will be collected at the stables (we accept cards or cash). *Pick up time is 15 minutes prior to the Ride Time.* NOTE: We may adjust the times of group rides based on ideal weather conditions. You will be notified in advance. If you wish to have a ride for your party exclusively or have more than 5 riders, then please go back and submit a Private Ride Request Form. Private Rides are for unique group dynamics or families with small children. After you click Book Ride and select the date and time, complete form with Name, Age, Height, Weight for each rider. Minimum age for Group Trail Rides is 8 years old; we do not allow you to ride with a child and our weight restriction is 235lbs. Tax is included in $90 per rider rate. After your ride, if you had a great time and wish to tip your wranglers, there is a "tipping boot" on the desk in our office or you can add it onto your card transaction. You will receive an email confirmation once you book here. Please contact us ASAP if you need to make changes by emailing ridetamaya@gmail.com or calling 505-554-5938. A bottle of water will be packed in your saddle bag ready for the journey. Please keep in mind it is 1 hour and 20 minutes out on the open land, so make sure to dress for the weather, have enough sunscreen and sun protection for your face, sunglasses & hats, comfortable closed toed shoes/boots, jeans or any kind of long pants and comfortable fitting tops and perhaps an extra layer. Since our group trail rides are open to all riders, the group will be a mix of all different levels, so the head wrangler will decide which route and pace suits the whole group. If you wish to have a specific horse or route, please fill out a Private Ride Request form. Our wranglers lead with safety as their top priority so please be respectful of the wranglers' instruction and guidance. With the information each rider provides us with, we will set up a ride that is adventurous and safe. We look forward to you joining us at The Stables of Tamaya at The Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort.

Please call 505-554-5938 with any questions or concerns. If you need to cancel or change your ride after you have completed booking, please contact us 24 hours prior to the ride time for a full refund of the deposit. If we do not receive your cancellation request or change at least 24 hours in advance, we will retain $25 per rider as the cancellation fee.
